1. Overview

Wishr ("the App") is a virtual coin-flicking experience that lets users place virtual coins at real-world locations. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

• Location Data: Your GPS coordinates are used to place coins on the map and to show your current location. Location data is only collected while the app is in use.
• Messages: If you attach a public message to a coin, it is stored and visible to other users. Private messages are stored but only visible to you.
• Authentication: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication and optionally Sign in with Apple. We store a unique user ID to track your coin balance. We do not collect your email, phone number, or real name unless you provide it via Sign in with Apple.
• Purchase Data: In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store payment information. We only record your coin balance.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To place and display coins on the map
• To show public messages attached to coins
• To maintain your coin balance across sessions
• To display leaderboards of popular locations

4. Data Storage

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) servers located in the EU (europe-west1). Data is transmitted securely using HTTPS/TLS encryption.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Public coin messages are visible to all users of the app. We do not use any advertising or analytics SDKs.

6. Data Retention

Coins and messages are retained indefinitely. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account), or request deletion by contacting us at the email below.

7. Age Requirement and Children's Privacy

Wishr is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
